“ Overall: I went here on a Thursday night with my girlfriend. The food was all delicious and the experience was top notch. We especially enjoyed the log cabin vibes. The service was excellent and though it was a little pricey, everything was excellent quality. I'd definitely come back, especially with a larger group so we could try some of the multi-person entrees. Food: 5 Drinks: 4 Service: 4 Value: 3 Atmosphere: 5 Food: We ordered several appetizers and sides to share as well as an entrée. Most of the portions were quite large, so this ended up being plenty of food. We ordered the Rabbit Two Ways, the Potato 'Pancake', the Glazed Sunchoke, and the Bison Osso Buco. We both thought the rabbit and potato pancake were the best dishes. The rabbit comes as both a cabbage wrapped meatball and as a tart. The meatballs were outstanding, and both dishes let the rabbit flavor come through. The potato pancake is a small cube of potato covered in a sauce and topped with some salmon. The potato was nice and crisp and complemented the other flavors. The osso buco was a little bit dry, but came with an excellent sauce and some marrow in the bone. The sunchoke dish came in another delicious sauce. Some of the larger pieces seemed a little firm for my liking, but the smaller ones were excellent. Drinks: I got the 'Burlington Coat Factory' (their take on a Manhattan) and my girlfriend got the Alpine Martini. I thought my Manhattan was well done but nothing special, but my girlfriend thought her martini was exceptional. They had several beers and cocktails as well as an extensive wine list. Most of these were priced towards the higher end, but there was still a full book for their wine list. Service: Our waitress was very helpful, especially given that we were ordering primarily from the appetizers and sides menu. She helped us narrow down our choices and choose an appropriate amount of food. We had several other servers come by to deliver food and drinks throughout the meal. Overall the service was a plus. Value: This isn't the best place for a bargain, but the food was all high end and tasted great. I thought the appetizers were pretty sizeable, but the Osso Buco wasn't the largest. The Rabbit was $18, the Potato Pancake was $23, the Sunchoke was $16, and the Osso Buco was $52. The cocktail menu ranged from $16-$19 each. Atmosphere: We had a great experience eating here. You start in a small waiting area, then are lead through a curtain to the dining room. The room is pleasant and warm and resembles a log cabin. We were seated right next to a wood burning fire, which was comfortable without being too hot or smoky. ”
“ Had dinner here the other night and the food was fantastic. The service was great. Our waiter John was on it with a table of 8 the ambiance is a bit loud but the decor and lay out make it seem not overcrowded. Had the duck, whole, and the pizza tartare. Two incredible dishes. Drinks were good and just a great time. ”
“ First time dining here and will definitely recommend From starter beef tartar pizza and new york prime steak, silver river steak and chocolate cream puff everything tasted amazing Ambiance is great and service was amazing Will definitely go back ”
“ Was afraid this place would be overhyped but pleasantly surprised by the food and service here. Ordered a couple drinks, a few apps, and dessert. Potato pancake: a classic pairing, and executed very well. Perfectly crispy potato with smoked salmon & sour cream. Steak tartare pizza: a must get. Salty, bright, and garlicky. They don't allow you to take leftovers home, but we finished it easily. Foie Gras mousse: I would skip next time, but this was my first time trying foie gras, so I'm not blaming the restaurant. Eskimo bars: Lighter than expected and delicious! Dark chocolate, vanilla ice cream, and a brownie base. Service: Excellent- the service was attentive, friendly, and professional. A lovely upscale experience. ”
“ My husband and I went for dinner and enjoyed our experience very much. We started with the turnip cakes and the mushroom dumplings. The turnip cake was my favorite - the garlicky, yogurty sauce was so flavorful! For entrees, my husband had the eggplant and I had the halibut. The eggplant was perfectly seasoned with the saffron adding a delicious unique flavor. The halibut was a wonderful texture and accompanied by fresh cherry tomatoes! We then continued with the two chocolatey desserts on the menu - the Eskimo bars, which are like mini chocolate covered ice cream with caramel sauce, and the dark chocolate custard, which is what it sounds like. For chocolate fans, we love both desserts and couldn't have enough of them! Overall - wonderful experience. This restaurant is worth the hype! ”
